The Nemenzophyllia turbida, is a large-pile stony coral (LPS coral). This unique-looking coral is often known as the Fox coral. The limestone coral is very fragile and requires extra care when placed between rocks in the reef aquarium. It is a peaceful coral that has no visible tentacles both during the day and at night. The polyps are white to pale green and are quite large, extending two to three times the width of the skeleton during the day.
