Provides strontium and carbon dioxide for zooxanthellae in a biologically ideal, crystalline form and thus supports the healthy growth of corals. Does not contain chelates, phosphates or nitrates.

For the growth and well-being of reef-building corals, a sufficient supply of strontium is similarly important as the availability of calcium and magnesium. Although strontium is present in seawater in considerably smaller quantities, biological processes, precipitation and incorporation into the calcium skeleton can still lead to a strontium deficiency.
